The Story Behind VitaStik & Breathe Formula
VitaStik as a company, and the Breathe Formula in particular was created by the founder of VitaStik. Like millions of other people, our founder suffered from acute Asthma, which caused daily tightness of the chest. He needed to carry a rescue bronchodilator inhaler every-day to prevent his sudden Asthma attacks. The problem he learned after 20 years of using his rescue inhaler (such as Albuterol), was that the more he used it, the more he needed to use it. It was highly addictive. After trying all of the inhalers on the market, he soon realized that pharmaceutical companies were designing inhalers purposefully to be addictive so that people have to keep buying them.
Because of this, he searched long and hard for natural and organic ways to open his breathing pathways, including pills, essential oils, diffusers, vitamins, diet, exercise, and many others. He found there were many things that helped, and some worked better than others. However, no one herb, essential oil, or vitamin seemed to work 100% for his chest tightness and wheezing.
For over two years he mixed various organics searching for a way to find breathing relief, without the addicting chemicals used in inhalers. After many, many, many failures, the Final Breathe Formula was born, and this led to the creation of VitaStik - The Vitamin Essential Oil Diffuser or Inhaler Stick.
However he was not finished there. He wanted more proof. He wanted to see if it might work for others, so he gave the Breathe Formula to some friends who suffered from Asthma and Bronchitis. He asked them, next time you feel an attack coming on, try one quick inhalation of our Patent Pending Breathe Formula. Give it 30 seconds he said, and if you don't feel an instant relief, then resume to your standard drug relief treatment. Most people smirked or laughed at his funny little Organic Water Stick, but most of them agreed to give it a try.
Well, about a week passed and no-one called him. Three more weeks went by and nothing. Finally, he got a call, then another, and another, all with highly positive results. All agreed ...and we repeat the word "all" agreed, that there was an instant bronchial relief provided after just 1 deep inhalation from the Breathe Stick.
Now, to be clear here, we are NOT making any claims about this product! Nor are we advising or suggesting that ANYONE try this test. Nor do we recommend that anyone use this product ever, in any circumstance to replace an inhaler. This is not the intention behind our statements. The purpose of these statements is simply to provide the backstory to the evolution of Breathe Formula and VitaStik as a whole.
Still, to this day, our founder personally uses the Breathe Stik almost daily. He keeps one on his bed table, and in his car in case of emergency. He usually takes 1 deep inhalation before bed to open his lungs for a restful night's sleep, without a chemical influence.
We do not recommend substituting any breathing medications. However, just like any good essential oil treatment, the VitaStik Breathe Formula can certainly be used as a Complement to your usual Treatment.
Breathe includes Eucalyptol, Menthol, Basil, Mint, Myrrh Essential Oils, Ginseng, B12, and our Organic Flavor Waters designed to open up and Refresh the soul. Each Stik is further enhanced with roughly 1 RDI (recommended daily intake) of Vitamin A, B complex, C, D, E, CoQ10 & Collagen.

Ginseng History & Interesting Facts
Ginseng was originally used as an herbal medicine in ancient China; there are even written records about its properties dating back to about 100 A.D. By the 16th century, ginseng was so popular that control over the ginseng fields became an issue.
In 2010, nearly all of the world’s 80,000 tons of ginseng in international commerce was produced in four countries — South Korea, China, Canada and the United States. Today, ginseng is marketed in over 35 countries and sales exceed $2 billion, half coming from South Korea.
Korea continues to be the largest provider of ginseng and China the largest consumer. Today, most North American ginseng is produced in Ontario, British Columbia, and Wisconsin.
Ginseng cultivated in Korea is classified into three types, depending on how it’s processed:
- Fresh ginseng is less than four years old.
- White ginseng is between four and six years old and is dried after peeling.
- Red ginseng is harvested, steamed and dried when it’s six years old.
Because people consider the age of the ginseng roots important, a 400-year-old root of Manchurian ginseng from the mountains of China sold for $10,000 per ounce in 1976.
Myrrh Oil History
Myrrh essential oil has been used for thousands of years in traditional healing therapies and in religious ceremonies. Common myrrh oil uses historically, include:
- Flavoring for food
- Treating hay fever
- As an antiseptic to clean and heal wounds
- As a paste to help stop bleeding
The Chinese frequently used myrrh as a medicine, and it remains a part of traditional Chinese medicine to this day. The main myrrh oil use by the Egyptians was for embalming and the Jews used it to make the holy anointing oil that was used in worship services.
The most common historical myrrh oil use was to burn the resin over hot coals. This would release a mysterious, spiritual presence into any room before a religious ceremony. It has also been used in aromatherapy for its meditative quality or for prayer, usually in combination with frankincense.
